We all love a story of hard work and determination and this branding photographer session in Worthington Ohio did not disappoint! Delcina’s passion for make up has always been the backbone of her career. Her story is such an inspirational one, that I couldn’t help but share it with the world.
Early Years of Delcina’s Career
In 1999, Delcina started her career from behind the counter. She worked as a makeup artist for Chanel at Marshall Fields. After acquiring wealth of experience at Chanel, she started working for Bobbi Brown at Nordstrom. She was able to polish her makeup skills and learn the art of modern makeup.
She continued her makeup career at Henri Bendel where she had the chance to work with big names like Laura Mercier, Kevyn Aucoin, NARS, Scott Barnes, and Trish McEvoy. Her experience at such top-notch brands gave her the skill set needed to provide a luxurious beauty experience for different clients.
Delcina’s Company 614 Beauty
After working for big names, Delcina finally decided to go on an independent adventure. Can you guess what that was? Let me tell you. She started her very own company in 2017 and named it “614 Beauty”. Wow, right? Her desire to get back into the wedding industry also backed her decision of a separate company.
However, due to her impeccable work, the demand for services kept increasing. She realized that a one-woman army wasn’t enough. So, she added Michelle Brown, who was a makeup artist with decades of experience. Another important member who Delcina added to her team was a hairstylist, Holly Clark. She met her through a mutual friend and now, made her part of the team.
Currently, Delcina has over 15 talented makeup artists in her team. 614 Beauty soars higher than ever, with brides loving the makeovers they get for their big days, and I’ve always been impressed by the flawless makeup skills that Delcina and her team displays. Not only that, but the team is wonderfully managed.
