Being a Bat Mitzvah photographer in Columbus Ohio is always a true joy! Sara had a gorgeous bat mitzvah at the wonderful Swan Lake Event Center venue in Powell Ohio. I loved so many moments about being her Bat Mitzvah photographer but my favorite aspect of the day was the emotions bubbling when we were watching a video filled with key moments from Sara’s life.

Before we started watching the video, Sara’s mum was taking a big breath and I could tell she was already getting a little bit emotional. As the video started I could clearly tell why! It was a great story about Sara’s life, the beautiful girl she is and the wonderful work that her mum and dad has done.

It was just the sweetest moment. As I was standing there watching the video I knew that everyone around me was getting emotional. I turned around and saw the mum in tears of joy and well deserved pride. I’m so glad I managed to catch the moment!
