Wedding Photographer Lancaster Ohio | Liz + Kish

I thoroughly enjoyed my day as a wedding photographer in Lancaster, Ohio. This wedding was absolutely beautiful. However, the moment that stood out to me the most was when the bride entered the room. She was literally shining! And the look on her husband Kish was a moment I think all people present will cherish for a LONG time.

It’s moments like these that reminds me all over again why I love being a wedding photographer.

However, the story about how Liz and Kish met is even more incredible!
And Liz asked me to share it with all of you.

Liz went with a friend to a “Paint & Coffee Night”. A few of Kish’s
friends happened to be sitting at the very same table as them and they took a
few photos together and became Facebook friends. 6 months later Kish’s friend
Christy sent Liz a message. And Christy was saying that she had a friend who
was attracted to her. Liz decided to meet him and while the rest is history, this
story is just getting started…

Two weeks before Christy contacted Liz, Liz had been praying a special prayer:

“God, you know I am happy with my life… job, house, family, etc. If you don’t want me to get married, I’m okay… I accept whatever you have in store for me. I have been wanting to meet someone for years but nothing has happened, so I surrender that part of my life to you God. I’m not anymore going to look for someone… if you God have someone for me, that person will come to me… he has to show interest and know what he wants. Amen.”

So after pretty much having written off the prospect of getting
married and simply relying on God, Kish showed up from nowhere fulfilling the
prayer in every aspect!

After spending a day surrounded by Liz’s and Kish’s family and
friends, it was obvious to me that this wasn’t an ordinary couple. They were so
loved by so many. I especially love how connected this couple are to each other,
what a great team they are and how they instinctively decide things together.
