The Ohio Royalty event for Valentine’s day was filled with energy!  As their event photographer, I got to meet the Miss Ohio 2020 sister queens from the Miss American Girl Pageant Organization, their families and their amazing, hands-on Director Annette Chase. It was wonderful to see that these Miss Ohio titleholders, after spending so much time together, are now almost as close as sisters. It’s friendships that will last a lifetime.

Furthermore, as I’ve gotten a peek behind the curtains of the Miss American Girl Pageants I’ve been impressed with all the good things they do in the community. Miss Chase makes sure that all the participants give back to their communities.  Together they volunteer at local shelters, food banks, raise money for causes, like Ronald McDonald House and collect school supplies for low-income families.

While beauty, of course, is on the agenda, these young ladies also learn valuable skills such as public speaking and how to interview. Considering that public speaking is one of the biggest fears that adults admit having, these skills can certainly one day help them land a job and jumpstart their careers.

After shooting this event, I have to admit that the Miss American Girl Pageant Organization is a lot of fun. If you want to help a girl you know to build confidence, self-esteem and the value of volunteering, while sharpening her public speaking skills, presence and composure, you might want to consider checking out, Annette Chase and MAG pageants.
