I’m always truly touched by what Welcome Warehouse are doing in our community here in Dublin, Ohio. So many people have been loved and cared for through their amazing work.
Over the years I’ve volunteered as a translator at Welcome Warehouse and seeing what some local families are going through is very sad and stressful. But Welcome Warehouse have been able to support so many and able to help them get back on their feet again!
It was therefore a true pleasure to be back working with them as an event photographer last week. It was their Cabaret Fundraising Gala and it was filled with great performances from a number of local talents.
This gala raised over $39,000 and will help Welcome Warehouse to continue their mission. They provide temporary assistance because of job loss, underemployment, health crisis or other challenges. Furthermore, they work alongside the entire community to help families and provide hope for those struggling to meet basic needs.
Some of the programs and services that Welcome Warehouse offer are:
- Free Shop that offers gently used clothing and household items
- Back-to-School supply kits and backpacks for school children
- Mattress donations for those in need of a bed
- Emergency Household Assistance to families facing a financial crisis
- Adopt-A-Family holiday program
